RACHELL ROTH

the woman. the myth. the legend.

Rachell Roth is the brains and talent behind Kookie’s. Although an east coaster at heart, she made the wild west her home for the last nine years. She has been working in the service industry for half her life doing everything from dishwashing to tending bar to managing and all jobs in between.

She is a self taught cook and baker that is obsessed with food and is always trying out new recipes. She is well versed in many different cuisines and aims to please. She prefers having her meals served family style to promote sharing, laughter and conversation at the table.

Rachell is also a ceramicist and is determined to make functional kitchen wares for all. All her items are handbuilt and slightly “off” in an endearing way.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two cats and traveling to distant lands. Rock and roll music, photography, bowling and crafting are close seconds to her passion for cooking.

She has now taken on another adventure by relocating to France and is continuing to pursue her career as freelance chef.

In over three months our chef Rachell rarely offered the same menu items twice. We actually had to ask her to bring things back that we really wanted.
